Q. Do I have to be a Christian?

A. All OHF staff and Foster Parents are Christian and come from a wide variety of cultures social backgrounds and churches.  This means that if your child or young person is placed in an OHF Foster Family they will probably be taken to Church.  If this is an issue for you then you should discuss this with your Social Worker.

 

Q. Do we have to pay?

A. There is no charge for OHF services except if your child needs to be placed into care, you will then be asked to contribute financially to the cost of the care and it is your responsibility to provide the necessary clothing.  Your Social Worker will discuss this with you and your individual situation will be taken into account.

A. The "Fresh Perspective" Mentoring Programme is designed to support families who are experiencing the early stages of dysfunction, or are needing support following a more intensive Social Work intervention.
